Use your camera for barcode scanning

During picking, staff can scan product barcodes to quickly double check from the app.

Once a barcode matches, the scanner will automatically close and a success message will be shown.

Currently, the following barcodes are supported:

  • Code-128
  • Code-39
  • Code-93
  • EAN-8
  • EAN-13
  • EAN-14
  • UPC-A
  • ISBN

I have accidentally disabled camera access from the mobile app.

To re-enable camera access:

Android

  1. On your Android device, open Pikr on the Chrome app

     
  2. To the right of the address bar, tap More Organise and then Settings.
  3. Tap Site Settings.
  4. Tap Camera.
  5. Tap to turn the camera on or off.
  6. Find Pikr under Blocked, tap the site and then Access your camera and then Allow.

IOS

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Pikr in Safari.
  2. If you’ve turned off camera access, you can turn on your camera permissions in your device settings.
