From the
Orders table.
Create shipments (place in package and buy shipping label) with
only the items you want to fulfill. Do not include items you do not want to fulfill.

From the
Actions column. Click on the
Partial Fulfill button.

The order will have a status of
Partially Fulfilled. You can place the remaining items
On Hold. (Customers will not be notified)
Partially fulfilling orders

From the
Orders table.
Click on the more options button, a menu will show. Click on
Fulfill.

A popup will show. Click on
Edit Items button. Adjust the item quantity as required.

Click on the
Fulfill button. A
partial fulfillment will be created if any item has remaining items.

From the table, you should see that the order has a
Partially Fulfilled status.
You can place the remaining items in the order On Hold - for fulfillment at a later date. (Customers will not be notified)
This will also remove the order from the pick and pack queue.
